giff – the guide node in the Finnskogen for the future

Through the project, the aim is to strengthen and professionalize the guiding activities in Finnskogen by creating a long-term collaboration model for the area's nature and culture guides. A common guide node will serve as a hub for bookings, development, and quality assurance, while collaboration with the tourism industry's actors will stimulate entrepreneurship, tourism, and sustainable development in the area.

The project includes training guides in business skills and quality, developing package solutions for tourists, and arranging study visits and knowledge meetings to enhance competence about Finnskogen's nature and culture. A business plan and budget model will ensure continued operation after the project's end and create conditions for new guiding companies and services.
