Apply

After an expression of interest has been made and the leader office has received your presentation, we first discuss the idea and assess whether it fits within the Leader 7-sams development strategy.

How to write an application

After an expression of interest has been made, we will then get back to you with information about the leader office's assessment, usually within 1-2 weeks. It may also happen that we instead book a meeting with you to discuss the idea further.

If your idea fits in, it is time to apply for authorization from the Swedish Board of Agriculture. In the menu to the right, you will find documents about the authorization application including how to proceed.

Apply in the Swedish Board of Agriculture's e-service

The application for project support is made digitally with e-identification. An application always contains basic information about the applicant, project plan and budget as well as information for follow-up. The budget must always be substantiated with price information or quotes, payroll extracts if paid staff have been involved in the project, etc. In some cases, documentation in the form of permits is also required.

The application serves as a basis for the decision on support and justifies the costs that are approved in the application. The leader office supports the applicant in the process and provides advice on how the application should be formulated correctly.

When the application is submitted

When the application is completely submitted, the processing can begin. The board's preparation group (BG) then reviews the application and gives its opinion. If necessary, we will then get back to you for supplementary actions or we will continue to process the case in preparation for the board's decision (so-called LAG decision) on your application.

If your application is prioritized by the LAG board, the leader office processes the application in one more step and then sends the application on to the Swedish Board of Agriculture's queue for a formal decision on project support. The entire application process takes place digitally.

Eligible intervention areas within Leader 7-sam

There are four intervention areas within the Leader 7-sam strategy during the period 2023-2027. The idea you present to us must therefore fit within one of these intervention areas for it to be possible to apply for project support. The staff at the leader office will guide you if you contact us at an early stage, which we recommend.
