In each leader area, there is a local development strategy that forms the basis for development in the area. The strategy is jointly developed by the three sectors and is based on local initiatives and conditions.
The strategy describes what needs to be done for the area to develop in a positive direction and which efforts should be prioritized.

Our three goals
More attractive countryside to live, reside, work in, and visit
The feeling of thriving in one's community and being a part of the community is of great importance to the residents. Through local engagement, we can develop our community and improve our local environment.
Strengthened skills development
We want to strengthen skills development in the area with project support that facilitates skills supply, creates employment, increases integration, and counteracts exclusion.
Promote innovation power and entrepreneurship
The innovation power and the entrepreneurial spirit are a strength and an important driving force for development work in the entire area. By promoting, guiding, and facilitating initiatives, we create continued good development in our area.

The idea you present to us must therefore fit within one of these areas of intervention for it to be possible to apply for project support. The area of intervention destination 7-sam Värmland aims to develop, elevate, and create more destinations and attractions through the utilization of natural and cultural resources.
