Good advice to avoid deductions
Read the decision carefully and follow the conditions that are in it.
Follow the approved project plan and budget. If you deviate from the project plan and your decision, you risk not receiving the funds you have applied for. Only the expenses stated in the decision on support are eligible for support. If you have not applied for a change.
Be mindful of the project's end date.
Be careful to use the correct logo on all materials.
Do not forget to separately account for the project's expenses.
You should be able to produce a report from the accounting where only the expenses that belong to the project are included. Alternatively, an excerpt from the general ledger. Depending on the scope of your operations and accounting, you can use one of the following options.
- Project code, result unit, cost center, object, or similar.
- One or more accounting accounts that are specifically designated for the project or investment. These accounts should preferably be marked with a specific name or number. Accounts may include other expense items than those reported in the payment application, provided that these belong to the project or investment.
- Clear marking in accounting documentation or column journal showing that the grant recipient has recorded the expenses and revenues related to the project or investment.
- Accounting in a cash book. Keep in mind that accounting must be done in a separate column.
If the plan changes
Contact us at the office if something happens that makes the project unable to be carried out as intended.
Likewise, if more time is needed to implement the initiative or if the financing of the project changes. It is important that this contact occurs before you make any changes. A new decision may need to be made that is adjusted according to the new conditions.
