selma & harry Round trip
Selma & Harry ToR. A collaborative project between Leader 7-sam and Leader Sydost that will be implemented from September ’25 – April ’27.
About the project
Through the project, the aim is to create new engagement among younger generations and at the same time renew and broaden the cultural events that Kulturveckan in Sunne and Nässelfrossa in Olofström represent. By leveraging the municipalities' connection to Nobel Prize winners Selma Lagerlöf and Harry Martinson, the project aims to strengthen the municipalities' attractiveness as literary destinations and contribute to a more dynamic and cross-generational cultural development.
The project includes training and support for young cultural practitioners who will participate as creators and organizers, development of new activities for a younger audience, and experience exchange between the municipalities. The project will also create a long-term structure for collaboration and skills development within the cultural sector, which in the long run can lead to more job opportunities and increased local pride.
