uddeholmsladan – pre-study

The purpose of the project is to develop the tourism industry in the area around Uddeholmsladan by creating a strategic basis for future development. The pre-study should contribute to creating an attractive destination and serve as a hub between Klarälvdalen and Hagfors, while strengthening collaboration between the municipality, businesses, and associations.

The goal of the project is to, at the end of the project, have developed:

• A business plan and marketing plan
• A situational plan for the area
• A visual illustration to support future development and detailed planning work

The project will thus create a concrete decision-making basis for investments and further development of the area, with the ambition to broaden the activities (e.g., camping, parking spaces, and service offerings) and increase the number of visitors as well as their length of stay.
This is a pre-study that will lay the foundation for developing Uddeholmsladan into a more complete destination. The focus is on planning, collaboration, and the development of decision-making bases.
